The Opportunity:
Are you looking for your next exciting career move? British Transport Police have an excellent opportunity for a Digital Workplace Specialist to join the Digital Workplace Solutions team on an 18-month fixed term contract.
As a Digital Workplace Solutions Specialist with BTP, you will have the opportunity to lead on the development of a Power Platform-based case file management solution. You will leverage the broad capabilities of the Power Platform to deliver a modern experience for our employees, built to meet their specific needs and business processes, integrating where necessary with 3rd party systems and services. With the support of an Architect and dedicated Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping the outcome of this project.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as the subject matter expert for Power Platform and Dataverse within the context of the project.
- Lead on and undertake development of core components, including customising Dataverse, developing model-driven and canvas apps, business process flows and API integrations with 3rd party systems.
- Lead engagement with business stakeholders at a technical level, and provide support to the project manager where appropriate
- Work closely with the dedicated Engineer to maximise efficient development practices and adherence to project timelines.
- Ensure that the solution is fully tested, documented, and subject to all necessary internal approvals.
What We’re Looking For Essential Skills:
- Expertise in Power Platform and Dataverse with recent experience of delivering complex solutions.
- Competence in C# and .Net, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON and experience working with APIs.
- Experience working within M365 and Azure to deliver complex solutions, including strong understanding of Identity and Access Management.
- Experience working in a regulated or similar environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams.
- Highly skilled in interpersonal and verbal/written communications, presentations, and possesses exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Vetting: Successful applicants will be required to pass Management Vetting and hold National Security Vetting at SC, including a full background and financial disclosure. For more information and Top Tips, please see attached document.

What We Offer:
Salary: £53,081.45 per annum with yearly increments based on performance.
Supplement: Up to £7,821.28, awarded at 0%, 50% or 100% through an evidence-based skills assessment. London Allowance of £3,177.65 for London based employees.
