Job Introduction

Salary: £28,486.92 per annum with yearly increments based on performance plus an additional £4,613.61 London allowance per annum for London based candidates.

Contract Type: 18 Month Fixed Term Contract, Full-time

Location: Can be based out of London or Manchester

Type of Working Arrangement: Blended approach of home and office-working is available

Hours: 37 hours per week

The Opportunity:

British Transport Police have an opportunity for two Occupational Health Administrators to join the Wellbeing, Health and Safety team. As an Occupational Health Administrator with BTP, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of Occupational Health services, ensuring the smooth coordination of clinics, appointments and case management processes. You’ll be at the heart of a busy and essential service, helping colleagues across the organisation access the support they need to stay safe, well and operational.

 

What you'll be doing:  

  • Coordinating Occupational Health clinics and appointments, ensuring bookings are managed efficiently and within service level agreements. 
  • Acting as a key point of contact for queries via phone and email, triaging requests and providing a high level of customer service. 
  • Supporting case management processes, including arranging appointments and maintaining accurate records on OH systems. 
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support, including managing correspondence, updating systems and supporting reporting and financial processes. 

 

What you'll bring to the team:  

  • Experience delivering excellent customer service and handling a wide range of queries professionally. 
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet competing deadlines. 
  • Proven administrative experience with high attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
