The Opportunity

Are you looking for your next career move? British Transport Police has an excellent opportunity for a Resourcing Advisor to join the Resourcing Team.

As a Resourcing Advisor, you will provide expert recruitment and resourcing support across specialist business areas, ensuring best practice is followed and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading on a varied portfolio of resourcing activity and developing tailored recruitment solutions
  • Using all available resourcing tools for advertising, direct sourcing, and agency engagement
  • Driving improvements and modernisation within the recruitment function
  • Acting as a first point of contact for resourcing matters, providing expert advice to stakeholders

Please note:
Successful candidates who are not London‑based will be expected to travel to London for assessment centres, which are usually held on Saturdays and Sundays (sporadically throughout the year, depending on business need).


What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Proven experience of sourcing candidates using multiple channels
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to deliver recruitment solutions
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practice and relevant regulatory requirements
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience building effective working relationships with colleagues and candidates at all levels of seniority
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification, or equivalent experience in resourcing or a related field

Vetting

Successful applicants will be required to pass Recruitment Vetting (minimum 3 years’ UK residency), including full background and financial checks.

References covering the past 5 years will be required.
