What Are BTP Cadets?
We’re a nationwide youth group for young people who want to get involved in their communities, learn about policing, and build skills that will shape your future — all while having loads of fun.
You’ll meet weekly, take part in activities, and even volunteer in your local area. Everyone’s welcome — no experience needed!

Who Can Join?
- Cadets (13–17 years old)
- Currently, we are only recruiting for our cadet unit in London Islington

Your sessions might include:
- Learning about policing and the law
- Helping with community projects
- Supporting neighbourhood events
- Visiting specialist units
- Team-building and leadership activities
