CCTV Service Delivery Manager

Job Introduction

A CCTV Service Delivery Manager (Investigations)  is required for a Full Time and Permenant contract paying up to £48,254.40 Plus £3,177.65 London Allowance per annum with British Transport Police (BTP) based in Ebury Bridge, London. 

BTP is the national police Force for the rail network throughout Great Britain, including London Underground, across which we ensure the safety and security of nearly 3 billion passenger journeys and over 100 million tons of freight every year. The world in which we work is fast paced, operationally and commercially demanding, and constantly changing.  As CCTV Service Delivery Manager with BTP you will manage and lead a team of CCTV professionals undertaking specialist CCTV activities in line with legal and regulatory requirements. The post holder will establish and manage daily priorities enabling an efficient and effective service across BTP.

As a CCTV Service Delivery Manager, you will be required to: 

  • Establish daily priorities and adhere to relevant legislation in the delivery of best evidence to all CCTV customers
  • Undertake line management responsibilities in line with HR policies and procedures
  • Subject Matter Expert for specialist CCTV matters, including liaising with SIOs around best practice regarding CCTV trawls and retrieval, court presentation, image enhancement and analytical work
  • Ensure effective service delivery and that staffing levels are appropriate for tasking demands
  • Support the senior management team and work with other supervisors in order to develop CCTV plans and priorities including project work
  • Ensure effective quality assurance processes are implemented and carried out for all specialist work in line with quality standards
  • Write technical procedures, manage and undertake validation planning, testing and reporting.
  • Carry out the role as auditor for ISO17025 as required

  • Problem solving technical issues related to this discipline
  • Excellent IT skills including Adobe software
  • Video processing skills
  • Application of Quality Management controls
  • Writing Technical Procedures
  • Excellent visual perceptual skills
