Are you looking for your next exciting career move? British Transport Police have an excellent opportunity for a Digital Workplace Engineer to join the Digital Workplace Solutions team on permanent basis.
The Digital Workplace Solutions team is responsible for the technical design, development and implementation of innovative services and solutions that improve collaboration, communication, mobility, and productivity.
As a Digital Workplace Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting the development of secure and robust solutions within Microsoft Power Platform, as well as delivering solutions that make the best use of our M365 E5 licencing, and the capabilities of Azure.
You will join the team at a time of growth, initially supporting the delivery of a new case file management platform.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist 3rd line expertise relating to Microsoft solutions and services within an ITIL environment.
- Assist in the delivery of Power Platform-based systems and services including developing model-driven and canvas apps, automations and integrations with 3rd party systems.
- Undertake engagement with business stakeholders, working to ensure customer needs are understood and met.
- Work closely with the team to maximise efficient development practices and adherence to project timelines.
- Ensure that all solutions are tested, documented, and subject to necessary internal approvals.
- Support other workstreams and services provided by the team
What We’re Looking For; Essential Skills:
- Competence in Power Platform and Dataverse with recent experience of delivering solutions.
- Experience working in C# and .Net, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON and with APIs.
- Experience working within M365 and Azure to deliver solutions, including strong understanding of Identity and Access Management.
- Experience working in a regulated or similar environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams.
- Great interpersonal and verbal/written communications, presentations, and possesses exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Additional Information:
Vetting: Successful applicants will be required to pass Management Vetting and hold National Security Vetting at SC, including a full background and financial disclosure. For more information and Top Tips, please see attached document.

Salary: £38,264.81 per annum with yearly increments based on performance.
Supplement: Up to £4,124.51, awarded at 0%, 50% or 100% through an evidence-based skills assessment, plus £4,427.65 London Allowance (if applicable).
